You can start practicing RTC® with paid clients as soon as you graduate. However, we recommend you take out professional liability and indemnity insurance before working with clients.

The best way to find an insurance company for this purpose is to reach out to companies in your country, state or jurisdiction and ask about their small business insurance and which professions they cover.
