We encourage all students to practice the techniques with friends, family and other students - practice makes permanent. Reflective Practice sessions are also part of your training program and are a chance to work with fellow students in a safe environment, with the support of the team. It is important to recognise that, as students, your focus should be on learning the tools and techniques. Practice sessions are not to be used to work on live issues especially those which may involve deep trauma i.e. it is about practicing the method and not giving or getting therapy.
