Reporting a Safeguarding Concern

1. Safeguarding concern for  reflective practice or another student
Email in to studentsupport@marisapeer.com and subject line of Safeguarding

2. Safeguarding concern on a Marisa Peer virtual event
Make one of the team on the event aware straight away

3. Safeguarding concern at a Marisa Peer live event
Make one of the team on the event aware straight away

4. Safeguarding concern with a client
It is your responsibility to report any safeguarding incident to the relevant agency, whether that is the police or your local authority.
As a graduate, it is essential that you research your local area for who you should report safeguarding to. In the UK, this is normally via your local authority.
It must not be reported to the RTT® Training School.

5. Safeguarding concern via social media or other contact method
If a concern is raised on social media we should be advising graduates to follow the usual  safeguarding guidance i.e. to report to relevant bodies or call emergency services.
If the concern is within one of our groups, then please inform the School via safeguarding@marisapeer.com
