Finding Your Niche?
Your niche is personal to you, and many people find their niche changes over the years. Equally, there is no requirement to have a niche.
Many graduates niche in areas in which they have particular knowledge or experience. For example, graduates who personally suffered from anxiety or have had weight issues and have used RTT® to overcome these blocks often use that experience as a means to help others.
Past experiences can be powerful tools when combined with RTT®/RTC®; your experience and knowledge can help clients feel heard and understood.
If you are looking for a niche, reflect back on why you started your journey:
What was the driver for doing the training and how were you feeling?
What was the pivotal moment when that changed and why?
By reflecting on your experiences, you can often find your perfect client and the people you are best suited to serve. Remember: people connect with people like them.
Be mindful when choosing your niche about why you are choosing it and ensure that you have the knowledge to niche in that area, which may involve deeper learning to ensure that this fits into your scope of practice.
